CliniCast ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address and name when you register.
• Hour entries: dates, durations, categories, and optional notes you log within the app.
• Billing configuration: fee split percentages and billing cycle settings you configure.
• Subscription status: whether you have an active Premium subscription (verified via Apple's App Store).

We do not collect client names, client session details, or any protected health information (PHI). CliniCast is designed to track supervision hours only — not client records.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the CliniCast service.
• To send transactional emails (e.g. login links) that you explicitly request.
• To calculate progress toward your supervision hour targets and income projections.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to any third party.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers provided by Render (render.com) located in the United States. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and short-lived authentication tokens. We do not store plain-text passwords.

Third-Party Services

• Render: cloud hosting and managed PostgreSQL database.
• Resend: transactional email delivery (login links only).
• Apple App Store: subscription management and payment processing for Premium.

These providers process data only as necessary to deliver their services and are bound by their own privacy policies.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.

Your Rights

• Access: you can export your hour data at any time from within the app.
• Deletion: to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at hello@clini-cast.com.
• Correction: you can update your name and email from within the app settings.

Children's Privacy

CliniCast is intended for use by licensed clinical supervisees and supervisors (adults). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of CliniCast after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
